I have an issue regarding the functionality on my Leopard. I tried to start the widget (put on the dashboard) but it always seems to froze and it does not react on any click. I am not even able to get to the menu. Anybody else with the same?

I think, the widget should display current time right next to the current program, so that user can compare it, and see if it’s worth watching it.
Nearly the same as in HajLender’s case here. Entering the menu takes about 10 seconds after click and widget itself looks written not enough correctly. I suggest you to fix this first.
Anyway, thanks for thinking of us with Slovak version.
HajLander! U and another guy reports theese problems of more than 1000 users… So i try to rewrite the all refreshing codes… but it’s hard because my computer is not generate theese errors…
In next major version ( maybe 2.0, but i don’t know the release date :D ), more features added, like maximum 7 day, and maximum 6 channel in one widget… :)
Maybe we can help you with beta-testing. Just say what you need and we’ll test it (you said your computer is not generating errors). ;-)
Yes :) Yesterday i 20-25% rewrite to support port.sk, so i generated some previously not existing bugs. Currently rewrite the refresh code 100% :D
Same here. For first time its worked fine, but after trying another station it froze. Even DashboardClient procces freeze (not responding).
Somehow I wonder why do we need to write in English. As far as I understand, the author is Hungarian so what if we knew Hungarian? ;)
As for tips I have – a lot of people (including me) think it would be nice to move the channel menu to the front of the widget. It would surely be a lot more practical. And – this may sound a bit jerkwater but, I suggest a complete redesign.
grr, i found the reason… my xml backend server overloads port.hu/sk/ro database, and temporary can’t get response from port’s servers. so, my server can’t answer to widgets… but, i rewroted the update mechanism, and in next week, finally create the response caching system. u can download an updated widget again… sorry

next large version gets new design, new skins, ands lots of new features. finally it’s saves the world, and the rain forrest :DDD
my tip: to show on front side of the widget which TV channel is set. It’s good if you are using multiple of these widgets, so it’s better for the orientation and to know which widget is for which channel…
2 M_@rt_In – author mentioned this in his comments to MacBlog announcement of his widget – „So channel icons, maybe in the next version, in the next weeks“ – in this beta for Slovakia channels is not working and in feature will be (you can check it if you’ll select another country not Slovakia – channel logo shows on left side of widget).
2 dex – Maybe because majority on this forum don’t understand Hungarian and have no problem with English ? :-)
To redesign – I personally like it like it is (minimalistic, decent), but there is no way to satisfy all… :-)
2 Czo – maybe feature to store channel programs for selected/used channels locally week ahead would be nice – it could decrease server load (just checking for changes) and widget will work even offline (for some time).
Czo: I didn’t say I understood so I will rather continue in English :) I just pointed out that it’s only 90 years we’re separated and still we are neighbours and still we don’t understand each other. (Same with Ukraine or Austria.) Well, English is the way nowadays :)
YES! The rainforest, I’m gonna love this widget. And it could also record your shows so you could watch them later. Even without having the TV cable plugged in. :D
